  • Remove silly Concept section. (Ron)
  • Remove silly attribute level descriptions. (Ron)
  • Consider: Change Strengths and Weaknesses to Edges and Issues?
  • Super powers. "Can I Fly?" "Can I be a robot?"
  • Ritual. Boundaries (GM as Boundary Keeper).
  • GM advice. How to run: Chase scenes, Investigation/clue plots, combats, hacking scenes.
  • The tennis analogy (but cooler) -- players bounce off each other, don't hit it into the net
  • Rules for setting Stakes in Conflicts: 1) can't set metagame stakes, 2) can't set OOC stakes, 3) can't set paradoxical stakes, 4) can't set "how it's done" stakes, just "what is done" stakes.
  • Life on the Line (extra dice)
  • Variant rules for ties
  • Thoughts on privacy (no one has any): character sheets, plot, etc.
  • Strong "what do players do?" and "what do characters do?" starter section.
  • Jargonless notes on bricolage and how gamers build their groups and SIS.
  • A giant section on what Cyberpunk is.
  • One- or two-page summary of rules you need to play.
  • Add some setting dials: supernatural elements, AI god power, VR-RL transitional technology.
  • From Godlike: "Squish" Frequency into Amplitude and vice versa.
  • Rules for Burn Out -- do you want to fade out slowly or go out in an explosion of flame?
  • The setting itself should focus the characters into their Drives.
  • Flesh out the Virtual Convergence setting enough to play.
  • Add coherent examples throughout the rules.

Done!

  • Add a section for spending Experience on new Traits and improving Traits.
  • Create a strong incentive for increasing Reputation, or make it automatic.
  • Finish Archetypes.
  • Ought the rules put Life + Trait on the frontline and then bring in extra Drive dice only when Drive is relevant? This forces players to angle into scenes that make their Drive relevant. No, just make it the GM's job to put Drive at Stake.
  • Rewrite the opening Premise. No longer Reputation-focused. Now Drive-focused.
  • Clarify the GM role: to put obstacles in the way of Characters, especially their Drives.
